She's due on the 4th of July - our due date has stayed the same throughout this entire process...and what a cool due date it is! This summer is going to be full of fun for us as we grow our family, and we are over the moon excited about having a little baby girl.
The ultrasound was such an amazing experience. She had herself positioned perfectly for the ultrasound tech to determine that it was actually a 'she' within the first 10 seconds of the ultrasound. She had the hicups during the ultrasound and it was the cutest thing to watch her little belly bounce every so often with another little 'hic-cup'!
She was moving all around, with her arms above her head making the 'sooooo big' sign, and then her arms would cover her mouth, it was incredible to watch. She would turn around and show us her backside and then she'd just hang out and let the technician take all the measurements...such a well behaved little girl already! ;o)
We can't wait to start buying gender specific items now - I am in awe to now be able to say 'she' and 'her' and refer to the baby as something other than 'it' or 'the baby'.
We will keep you posted on more fun stuff to come!
Yeah! That's so exciting. Have you thought of any names?
ReplyDeleteYay!!! Congrats on your baby girl! So exciting!!!
ReplyDeleteWe really like the name Isabella Mae Kavanaugh - calling her Izzy Kavanaugh or 'baby bella' just sounds so darn cute to me! But we have a list going and will have to meet her first to see what she looks like!
